On September 21, 2021, a conference of the Council of Young Scientists of the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University took place in the online format. The purpose of the conference was to report on the activities of the CYS for three years and to elect its new members.

     The conference was moderated by the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists in 2018-2021, Ph.D. Pedagogical Sciences, Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Pedagogics, I. Ye. Makarenko, who announced the agenda.

     The audience was addressed by the Rector of KSPU, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Full Professor, Ya. V. Shramko, who thanked the young scientific community and noted (translated): “The work of the Council of Young Scientists is an important component of our university, as scientific achievements should be developed as early as possible, to further improve them. We care about the formation of new generations of scientists, when experienced scientists share their experience with youth. The development of this council is necessary in order for young researchers to be able to contribute to the overall development of the university and thus improve our results”.

     The Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Full Professor V.A. Hamaniuk also addressed the participants of the conference with an introductory speech (translated): “I hope that the experience that will be reported today will be the platform on which the successful development of the Council of Young Scientists will continue. The administration maximally supports our scientific youth and strives to carefully study each initiative and promote its implementation”.

     During the report, I. Ye. Makarenko told about the work of the Council of Young Scientists in 2018-2021, outlined the main directions of its activities and focused on some ideas and proposals that can contribute to the successful development and expansion of the Council’s activity.

     According to the open voting results, the following composition of the Presidium of the Council for 2022-2024 was formed:

Chairman of the Council: I.V. Masliaieva, graduate student of the third year of study of the Department of Ukrainian Language, the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology;

Deputy Chairman: Yu. O. Prykhozha, graduate student of the fourth year of study at the Department of Physics and Methods of its Teaching, the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics;

Secretary of the Council: N.O. Zakharova, Ph.D. in Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Translation and Slavic Philology.

We congratulate the newly elected Council of Young Scientists and wish them scientific growth!
