On November 3, 2021, lecturers of the Department of Ukrainian Language of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University headed by the First Pro-Rector, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Oksana Ostroushko and the Head of the Department, Doctor of Philology, Professor Zhanna Koloiz took part in the international scientific-practical webinar “Entrepreneurship Across Cultures”, held at University Kuala Limpur – UniKL (Malaysia).

  

 

     The international webinar was organized by the scientific and pedagogical staff of UniKL University for the general public: graduate students, doctoral students, teaching staff, the Board of Directors of UniKL University, entrepreneurs. The meeting was moderated by Dr. Norkhairi Ahmad.

     The speakers focused on the issue of multicultural (cross-cultural) communication with its manifestation in the field of entrepreneurship. Guest lecturers were the philologist Oksana Chaika, Associate Professor of Foreign Philology and Translation, Faculty of Humanities and Education of Natural University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, and Mr. Kah Yee Eg, Honorary President of the Chinese Foreign Association, Chairman and Founder of UCrest Berhad. They emphasized various aspects of intercultural interaction in the context of post-industrial civilization. Participants of the international webinar had the opportunity to understand the integral principles of multiculturalism, and hence polylingualism, their cognitive-perceptual, psycho-emotional modes in entrepreneurship, its cross-cultural vectors in the national interpretation and evaluate the practical experience of doing business in the intercultural plane.

     After announcing the topics, during the panel discussion, the participants not only heard the answers of the speakers to the questions of the audience, but also got acquainted with other information not limited with the stated issues. This, the webinar organizers invited guests to view presentation materials about the mission of Kuala Limpur University, its vision, ways of formation, structure, logistics and operation in various areas, international activities and invited all webinar participants to academic cooperation and further joint work.
