At the end of November 2021, representatives of the Compartment of Fine Arts and Graphics of the Faculty of Arts joined the photo exhibition “Beauty of the Soul”, dedicated to children with special needs. The event was organized by the NGO “Guardian of the Soul” with the support of the “Ukrainian Perspective” Foundation.

The main goal of the event was to draw the attention of citizens, especially parents, to children’s health and provide special opportunities for special children for their self-development and self-expression.

The exhibition featured many photos of children with cerebral palsy and autism, created by talented Kryvyi Rih photographers. There were also several creative locations: master classes in sand painting, an exhibition of old cameras, etc.

Among the most interesting locations was the location, created by Artem Lalimenko and Anastasiia Shuvalova, the masters of the Compartment of Fine Arts and Graphics of the Faculty of Arts, held under the guidance of Iuliia Zenkovych, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fine Arts. Students painted portraits of children with special needs, and at the end of the exhibition presented them with images.

Iuliia Zenkovych told (translated): “We were invited to take part in this event by the executive committee of the Kryvyi Rih City Council, with which we always cooperate. Our students gladly agreed to join the program of the event in order to help create a festive atmosphere for children and parents”.

At the end of the meeting, the participants of the festive event thanked the organizers and talented people of our city for the bright emotions and gifts.
