Military actions on the territory of our country have an extremely negative effect on the emotional state not only of direct witnesses of terrible events, but also of all Ukrainians. That is why it is necessary to find a resource to restore psychological balance.
In order to provide psychological support to the educational community, university teachers of the Department of General and Age Psychology of the KSPU in the period from 9 to 15 March 2022 held a series of online meetings.
During this time, a number of current topics were worked out: “Rebranding. Oh, what is this? Hour of communication with a psychologist "," How can I help myself and relatives to cope with anxiety and fear "," Emergency aid for acute stress reactions "," How to provide first emergency psychological care in war, if you are not a psychologist. "
Valuable advice was shared with the students by Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor N.M. Makarenko, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor O.O. Khalik, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor O.A. Tkachenko.
In order to provide psychological help, simple restorative techniques that promote inner calm have been demonstrated and practiced. The main message of the practicum was that everyone should provide their own mental stability in order to have additional resources to help others.
