## About the Workshop

The Workshop for Young Scientists in Computer Science & Software Engineering (CS&SE@SW) is a peer-reviewed computer science workshop focusing on research advances and applications of information technologies. The vision of CS&SE@SW is to provide an expert environment for young researchers who are at the beginning of their careers to present and discuss the most recent ideas and early results of research projects.

## Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit full papers (at least 6 pages) through the HotCRP system (https://notso.easyscience.education/cssesw/2024/) by December 2, 2024.

### Primary Requirements

1. Submissions should be:
- Basically correct and sound
- Original (not published elsewhere partly or in full and not submitted to other venues for simultaneous consideration)
- Presented at the workshop (at least one author of each article should attend the workshop)
- Strictly in line with the scope of the workshop

2. Authors utilizing language models (LLMs) to aid in idea generation or drafting of papers should explicitly disclose their usage, providing complete transparency about the LLM employed (including name, version, model, and source) within the submitted paper.

3. Authors must ensure citations enhance value, remain unbiased, support relevant points, and avoid superfluous references.

4. Please disclose any potential conflicts of interest in the acknowledgments section when you submit your article.

5. Authors are encouraged to refer to the Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE) for all aspects of publication ethics (https://publicationethics.org/) and to conform to the ethical rules described on https://ceur-ws.org/ACADEMIC-ETHICS.html.

### Formatting

CS&SE@SW uses the one-column CEURART style for the proceedings. Authors should use the LaTeX class file and follow the LaTeX guidelines for their submissions. The template can be downloaded from the workshop website.

## Review Process

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by 2 Program Committee members on the basis of technical quality, relevance, originality, significance, and clarity. If necessary, a 3rd, additional reviewer will be involved. The Program Committee will use these reviews to determine which papers will be accepted for presentation at the workshop.

## Publication

Accepted papers shall be submitted to the long-year workshop sponsor CEUR-WS.org for online publication.

We invite paper submissions for the 6th International Conference on History, Theory and Methodology of Learning (ICHTML 2025), to be held in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, on May 12-13, 2025.

ICHTML provides a platform for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share innovative research, ideas, and best practices related to the past, present, and future of learning. The interdisciplinary conference covers diverse topics spanning the history, theories, methodologies, technologies, and applications of learning across contexts.

We welcome original, unpublished submissions in English on relevant topics, including but not limited to:

At least one author of each accepted paper must register to present the work at the conference. Please refer to the conference website for detailed submission guidelines, publication options, and important dates.

BLESSED 2023 as is:

BLESSED is the first peer-reviewed workshop co-located with ICon-MaSTEd focusing on theory and practice of blended learning in education.

The workshop is dedicated to various issues of using blended learning in education, such as theoretical aspects (history, conceptual foundations, models and approaches), technical aspects (use of learning management systems, institutional learning with MOOCs, use of software tools for assessing learning achievements, organization of webinars/video conferences, use of mixed reality to create an immersive learning environment, use of simulators, virtual manipulators, and artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency and staffing of the educational process, online platforms to support collaboration and interaction between students and teachers), pedagogical aspects (didactic principles, methods and techniques of blended learning, organization of independent work, efficiency and effectiveness of learning) and practical experience of using blended learning.

The program of BLESSED 2024 will include a contributed presentation of the accomplished work and work in progress. The workshop will be full day.

How much does it cost to join the workshop? You need to pay 75 GBP to register for the workshop (one payment per paper).

How can I get a free registration? If you have written a paper that is related to one of the topics of the workshop, you might be eligible for a free registration. The Academy of Cognitive and Natural Sciences gives 7 Best Paper Awards every year to the best papers from Ukraine on each topic. If you win one of these awards, you don’t have to pay the registration fee. This is a great opportunity to show your excellent research and save some money.

BLESSED topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

– Practical experience of using blended learning.

Submission Types and Requirements

BLESSED solicits (i) full research papers, (ii) discussion, survey, or problem analysis papers, (iii) short/research-in-progress papers. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this workshop.

The only language of BLESSED submissions is English. Due to promoting scientific communication, BLESSED live talks can be in any language (but we prefer English).

Every submission will be evaluated by at least three members of the BLESSED Program Committee. Based on evaluation results, the best papers will be accepted for their presentation at the workshop and publication in the proceedings.

Publication of BLESSED 2024

Accepted papers will be submitted to the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (Online ISSN: 1742-6596 / publisher: IOP Publishing) in three months after the workshop.

Presentation

Accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of their authors, who commit to register and attend the workshop. Workshop organizers will withdraw the paper from the publication if the author(s) do not attend the workshop.

CoSinE 2024 as is

CoSinE is a regular peer-reviewed international workshop colocated with ICon-MaSTEd focusing on theory and practice of computer simulation in education. This workshop was founded by Illia O. Teplytskyi (1941–2018), which pioneering works in the field of computer simulation in education are inspired us.

CoSinE puts special emphasis on real-world applications of computer simulation in education. Therefore, all contributors are strongly encouraged to demonstrate how and for what purpose the proposed solutions are to be used. Examples could be taken from case studies involving new tools and/or methodological approaches in education, experimental studies with usable learning applications, or surveys revealing new modelling tools in educational research and practice.

The program of CoSinE 2024 will include a contributed presentations of the accomplished work and work in progress. The workshop will be full day.

Registration

How much does it cost to join the workshop? You need to pay 75 GBP to register for the workshop (one payment per paper).

How can I get a free registration? If you have written a paper that is related to one of the topics of the workshop, you might be eligible for a free registration. The Academy of Cognitive and Natural Sciences gives 7 Best Paper Awards every year to the best papers from Ukraine on each topic. If you win one of these awards, you don’t have to pay the registration fee. This is a great opportunity to show your excellent research and save some money.

Submission Types and Requirements

CoSinE solicits (i) full research papers, (ii) discussion, survey, or problem analysis papers, (iii) short/research-in-progress papers. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this workshop.

Submission Guidelines

The only language of CoSinE submissions is English. Due to promoting scientific communication, CoSinE live talks can be in any language (but we prefer English).

Evaluation of Workshop Papers

Every submission will be evaluated by at least three members of the CoSinE Program Committee. Based on evaluation results, the best papers will be accepted for their presentation at the workshop and publication in the proceedings.

Publication of CoSinE 2024

Accepted papers will be submitted to the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (Online ISSN: 1742-6596 / publisher: IOP Publishing) in three months after the workshop.

Presentation

Accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of their authors, who commit to register and attend the workshop. Workshop organizers will withdraw the paper from the publication if the author(s) do not attend the workshop.

Statement on Venue

During the war in Ukraine, the Main Conference and Satellite Workshops will be in hybrid mode (both in-person and online).

ACNS Conference on Cloud and Immersive Technologies in Education (CITEd) is a peer-reviewed international conference focusing on research advances, applications of cloud and immersive technologies in education.
CTE+AREdu=CITEd is a collaborative effort between two flagship ACNS workshops, Cloud Technologies in Education (since 2012) and Augmented Reality in Education (since 2018).

Authors are invited to submit regular (full) and short research papers including surveys, tutorials, perspective/colloquia, discussion or problem analysis papers in the CITEd topics of interest through the HotCRP (https://notso.easyscience.education/cited/2022/) by October 10, 2022.

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by three scholars on the basis of technical quality, relevance, originality, significance, and clarity. If necessary, a fourth, additional reviewer will be involved. The Program Committee will use these reviews to determine which papers will be accepted for presentation at the conference. The result of the reviewing will be announced to the submitting authors by email, along with reviewer comments, if any.

CITEd does not charge any kind of fee. Participation is completely free.

Proceedings publication
1. Accepted papers presented at the CITEd 2022 conference will be published in the 10th volume of the CTE Workshop Proceedings (March, 2023).

3. The best papers, selected by CITEd program chairs, will be recommended for submission to the Education Technology Quarterly (expanded and revised, June 2023).
