This August, students from Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University are participating in a summer language school in the university town of Greifswald, Germany. This type of academic mobility allows students not only to improve their knowledge of German but also to immerse themselves in the culture and gain invaluable experience studying abroad.

Daria Fedorinova shares:

"The trip to the summer language camp in Greifswald has become a truly special experience for me. The city is very cozy and atmospheric, with narrow streets and the sea breeze that can be felt everywhere. The camp has a friendly atmosphere — we easily communicate with participants from other countries. I enjoy not only learning the language, but also discovering new cultures. This trip motivates me to continue studying German".

Artem Vereshchahin shares:

"When we arrived in Greifswald, we were welcomed and shown the dormitory, classrooms, and main places around the city. During the German language course, the teacher explains everything well in English — this is very helpful when difficulties arise. I had some trouble with orientation in the city, and people were happy to help me. Every day, we first attend classes and then participate in additional activities. The university has a cafeteria where you can buy snacks. They also helped me purchase a €49 ticket for bus and train travel — I use it every day".

Anna Shepelenko adds:

"The summer school in Greifswald has been a new and unforgettable experience for me. I have the opportunity to study German and learn about different cultures alongside students from other countries. We also take part in interesting excursions and cultural events. The teachers are extremely professional and friendly".

Students note the high level of organization, friendly atmosphere, intercultural interaction, and support from the organizers. Participation in the summer school helps not only to learn the language but also to adapt to a new educational environment.

This trip to Greifswald is yet another example of the successful implementation of KSPU's academic mobility programs aimed at supporting students in their professional and personal development. Thanks to international partnerships, our students have the opportunity to study abroad, improve their language skills, learn about the culture of other countries, and develop European values.
