Creative potential in the modern society is valued in any profession, especially in the work of a teacher. Creativity is an activity aimed at creating aesthetic, artistic values that are unique, original and unrepeatable.

Last week the city exhibition hall hosted the installation of a traditional exhibition of works of art by students and lecturers of the Compartment of Fine Arts and Graphics of the Faculty of Arts under the direction of senior lecturer V. Mishurovskyi, senior lecturer A. Rudyi, senior lecturer O.Furman and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor R.Pylnik. The exhibition is designed to reflect the diverse world of artistic trends. It presents the work of students and lecturers of several areas, such as “Painting”, “Graphics”, “Decorative and Applied Arts”.

Such projects are necessary for everyone – lecturers, students and creators. The system of higher education is constantly changing and the most important task is to provide conditions for the development and self-development of the main subjects of the education – lecturers and students of Faculty of Arts. Modern society, focused on solving of many scientific, economic and other issues, puts forward the orders for creative educators who help to solve these problems.

Only a teacher-artist who has set out on the path of systematic self-development and increase of professional competence can create an atmosphere in an educational institution that promotes the professional self-development of student-creator’s personality. Otherwise, the activities of the teacher to stimulate the self-development of students will be declarative in nature, but not supported by personal example.

The organizers of the exhibition are convinced that a modern teacher of a higher education at the faculty, connected with some sort of creativity, is the main example of professional competence for a student, who will become a professional in the future. Individual and collective creative exhibitions of teacher-artists, encapsulating scientific and creative research in one of their chosen areas of fine arts and design, are the best example for the younger creative generation. Training with professionals in art projects gives a new influx of creative energy.

We are always happy to have opportunities for creative exchange of ideas, to demonstrate our success in art fields, however this year we have to take into account the peculiarities of viewing the exhibition due to quarantine restrictions.

Organizers of the exhibition thank all the students who took part in the formation of the exhibition, as well as the participants of the exhibition and wish all of them further creative success!
