At the end of October 2021, the VII International Festival-Competition "Промені натхнення" was held online. This festival was joined by the representatives of Faculty of Arts of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.
This festival was created within the creative project "Тріумф-Fest", designed to influence the cultural and aesthetic education of the younger generation on the ground of the best examples of world and national art. The founders and organizers of the creative competition are the National All-Ukrainian Music Union, the All-Ukrainian Union of Contemporary and Variety Choreography, and representatives of the "Тріумф-Fest" project.
The main purpose of the festival was to identify and support children and young people talented in various arts, encourage leaders and participants to develop talents, establish creative and friendly relations between groups of Ukraine, as well as increase an interest in various arts.
The creative competition contained two rounds, which took place in person and on-line: the first round (selection) lasted until October 20, the second round (performances of participants) took place over two days, October 30 and 31.
KSPU was represented by Yelizaveta Zyhalo (first-year undergraduate) and Viktoriia Yevtushenko (second-year student), who are the soloists of the Department of Music and Choreography (Faculty of Arts), soloists of the folk studio of Ukrainian song “Oberig”. Preparation for the competition was carried out under the guidance of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Department of Music Education, Vocal and Choir Conducting L.I. Kosiak and accompanied by O.V. Laduba, the leading concertmaster of the department.
According to the results of competition, Yelizaveta Zihalo and Victoriia Yevtushenko won prizes in the category “Estrada Song” (category “Youth”) and were awarded medals and diplomas of the winners of the first degree.
The mentor of the winners, L.I. Kosiak mentioned (translated): “This is not the first time that these students have won competitions of such level. They are both very talented and persistent, striving to achieve high results in the field of vocal art. I would like to wish them further creative success and bright vocal victories!”
