In order to raise the educational, research and administrative activities of the university to the level of international standards, strengthen the research potential of the university, improve the attractiveness of the university for students and partners, and meet the university's educational needs, the Kyiv State Pedagogical University an institution that provides training for competitive professionals on the basis of sustainable personal and professional development; expands the geography of international partnership; creates joint research networks with foreign higher education institutions, research institutions, organizations; joins international student mobility, academic exchanges; conducts joint research work and provides educational services to foreign citizens.

International activities are implemented by concluding agreements and memoranda, involving research and teaching staff of the university in international projects and programs, conducting foreign internships, language testing and summer schools in foreign languages for students and staff of the university with the support of international partners from Germany, Canada, USA, Spain, Poland, Moldova, Kazakhstan and others. The theme of cooperation is the joint scientific work of scientists in the field of pedagogy and humanities.

Thus, in 2017, KSPU joined the Leadership Development Program of Ukrainian universities with the support of the British Council and the Leadership Foundation (UK) with the project "Image of the University as a result of its social capital formation."

During the summer holidays on the basis of the university with the support of representatives of Trinity Western University (Canada) there was a traditional summer school for learning English (Summer English Institute).

    

With the support of the Goethe-Institut and the German Academic Exchange Service, the university's research and teaching staff are undergoing internships in Germany, and students have the opportunity to receive scholarships to study at a German summer school.

Important for the development of the university's potential was the implementation in 2017 of the #StudHub Youth Center project within the Metinvest group's City with Our Hands social program and with the assistance of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

In 2017, the University joined the Erasmus + mobility program in the direction of KA1 with the University of Granada (Spain), which provides for exchanges of students and research and teaching staff, as well as internships at the University of Granada.
