The team of the Departments of Practical and General Psychology of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University has been recognised as the winners of the Erasmus+ CBHE "BURN" project, which received funding from the European Union. The project is aimed at disseminating best practices in providing psychological support to university communities affected by the consequences of war. It involves partners from the EU countries of Estonia, Germany and Latvia, as well as five leading Ukrainian universities: Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of Donbas State Pedagogical University, Kherson State University and Melitopol State Pedagogical University.

Given the great impact of the military conflict on Ukraine, it is important to provide support to those who need psychological recovery and help in overcoming trauma. The project envisages the implementation of educational courses, training, webinars and the exchange of experience between specialists. These activities will contribute to the implementation of best practices and achievements in psychological support in post-conflict recovery.

The total budget of the project for Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University is about EUR 48,000. We sincerely congratulate the team of researchers, especially the authors of the project Bondar K. (KSPU), Zadorozhna I. (Ternopil TNU), Golovko O. (University of Tartu), on this important victory. Their efforts are an invaluable contribution to the development of psychological support and cooperation in the face of difficult challenges after a military conflict.
