The staff of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University took an active part in the TESOL-Ukraine 2024 National Convention “COMPASSIONATE ELT: VOICES OF RESILIENCE AND DIVERSITY IN A TIME OF WAR”. The event was held from May 24 to 26, 2024 in Lviv under the support of Regional English Language Office, U.S. Embassy, Ukraine.

The purpose of the 26th TESOL-Ukraine National Congress was to bring together EFL professionals in Ukraine to identify strategies for the development of English language teaching in the context of the war in Ukraine and global changes in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT).

The representatives of KDPU had the opportunity to present the theses of the report and discuss topical issues of English language teaching methods in wartime conditions. The conference provided an opportunity to choose and attend a large number of workshops covering various aspects of teaching, from innovative methods to psychological support of students.

Participation in this important event emphasizes the desire of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University to develop language education and international cooperation. The scientists returned with new ideas and inspiration, ready to implement new methods and approaches to improve the quality of education for our students.
