The decision of the department of pedagogy of the dissertation was to recommend for submission to the specialized academic council for preliminary consideration and protection. We wish young scientists the fastest completion of work and successful protection.

On May 31, 2018 the VIIIth meeting of Council of Young Scientists was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Young scientists together with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on issues of Science and Education, the State Fund for Fundamental Research discussed actual problems of young scholars of our time for more than 5 hours.
Thus, the members of the Council offered clear proposals: 1) improvement of young scientists’ competition of the Ministry of Education and Science; 2) reforming the system of higher qualification personnel qualification; 3) improvement of the current legislation on promoting housing for young scientists in Ukraine.
In addition, young scientists reported on opportunities to participate in the European Council of Graduate Students and Young Scientists Eurodoc.
A representative from Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University was Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor of pedagogy, the head of the Council of Young Scientists of KSPU, Makarenko Irina Yevhenivna.

On May 24, 2018 the issue “Recommendation to the defend of the postgraduate student’s dissertation research of the Department of Pedagogy of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University - Verbеnets Anna” was considered at a session of the Department of Pedagogy. The topic is "Development of Inclusive Education in Secondary Educational Institutions in Malta (the second half of the XXth - the beginning of the XXI century.); specialty 13.00.01 - General Pedagogics and History of Pedagogy ". Scientific supervisor: Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, Full Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy of KSPU Tetiana Doronina
A. Verbinets made a report on the main results of the study. Thorough analysis of the work with comments and suggestions was presented by the reviewers: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor N.I. Zelenkova and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor S.М. Shcherbina.
As a result of discussion of suggestions made during the analysis of the dissertation research, present people agreed on recommendation to Anna Andreevna Verbenets’s dissertation research on the topic "Development of Inclusive Education in Secondary Educational Institutions in Malta (the second half of the XXth - the beginning of the XXI century.); specialty 13.00.01 - General Pedagogics and History of Pedagogy” for preliminary consideration and protection.

On May 10, 2018, the Department of Pedagogy held a sectional meeting of the report scientific conference of students "Educational, Pedagogical Sciences".
Teachers of the Department presented students’ scientific reports of different faculties, who studied the actual problems in the educational field during the year. They are:
- time management for children and adolescents;
- ethnopedagogy as a driving force in the formation of the child's comprehensive development;
- non-traditional forms of education as the main form of development of creative abilities
- modern interactive learning technologies;
- the principles of humanistic education in the pedagogical process on the basis of humanistic ideas of V.O. Sukhomlinsky and others.
The students’ organization in research work is an important factor in effective training of specialists with higher education. Thus, the first student's steps in the scientific education field will contribute to satisfying their aspiration for creative activity on a scientific basis and will form young professionals interest in creative scientific research.
There were discussion of projections, presentation of scientific researches during the conference. All participants were awarded with diplomas.
We wish students not to lose interest in research activities, creative achievements and victories!

April 26 - 27, 2014 the II stage of Ukrainian competition of scientific works "Educational, pedagogical sciences" took place in Drogobych State Pedagogical University named after. I. Franko.
59 works from various institutions of higher education of Ukraine were submitted to the competition.
According to the results of the double independent review, the authors of the 14 best scientific papers were invited to participate in the II stage of the competition.
The scientific work of the student of the faculty of foreign languages Bogun Natalya Yuriivna " Students’ formation of leadership qualities in the self-government system of school "(scientific adviser - candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor of the department of pedagogy, Makarenko Irina Evgenivna), won the second place.

April 26, 2018, students of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University (faculty of foreign languages / faculty of arts (music and choreographic department)) took part in the XI All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Science, Education, Youth. Uman-2018 ", which was in Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tichina. Students had the opportunity to choose an interesting and relevant educational problem and after having examined submit the results in the published book of conference materials. Students' experience in scientific and pedagogical searches in actual educational problems will facilitate their formation as future creative specialists.

On April 19, 2018, a regular scientific and methodical seminar took place at the Department of Pedagogy. The report by associate professor V. Ivanova "Future teachers’ development of professional creativity in the system of vocational training" and the report by assistant professor I. Makarenko "Entrepreneurship University as means of implementing the concept of lifelong learning" were heard in order to enhance the professional level of teachers and discuss new pedagogical achievements.
Teachers of the department (associate professors O. Bilous, I. Voloshchuk, N. Zelenkova, A. Korol, O. Potapenko, S. Scherbina) discussed the question about the preparation for masters’ complex tests in specialization "Pedagogy of Higher School".
The moderator was the head of the department T. Doronina, who drew attention to the cooperation and co-creation of the members of the department in fulfilling tasks.

At the beginning of spring the educational community of Kryvyi Rih has an opportunity to unite for discussion of topical problems of national pedagogical idea’s development during the annual regional scientific and methodical seminar held by the Department of Pedagogy of KDPU almost for five years .The topics for discussion in previous years were: "Formation of a teacher's image in the conditions of modern educational practice" (2014); "Innovative pedagogical activity as a factor of prevention of teacher’s emotional burnout " (2015); “Modernization of modern education: theoretical and applied aspects "(2016); "Using the latest pedagogical technologies in the conditions of modernization of modern education" (2017)
This year (March 23) the Department of Pedagogy of KDPU held a regular regional seminar "School education in the modern educational space: "The concept of new Ukrainian school".
At the beginning of the seminar, vice-rector on scientific work of KDPU, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor V.A. Gamanyuk spoke.
Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor, T.O. Doronina described the challenges faced by modern pedagogy.
The moderator of the event was associate professor of the Department of Pedagogics Shcherbina S.M., who also congratulated the participants of the seminar, defined its main directions and general rules of work.

Postgraduate students delivered their interim results of scientific research (Gostra K.V., Dubel I.M., Ivchenko V.I., Lanetska Yu.A., Selischeva I.A., Stupak K.E.) and graduate students of the Department of Pedagogy (Drobnitsa I.P., Izmailova K.V., Kravets K. Yu., Mjasoedova T.I., Mikitenko M.V.)
The issues of innovative processes of development of the national education were discussed in the reports-presentations; pedagogical technologies of organization of educational space in general educational institutions; modern approaches to the training of pedagogical specialists in school education. The topic of V.O. Sukhomlynsky’s pedagogical heritage became a separate discussion, because of the anniversary of the outstanding native educator, thinker and Teacher.
The pedagogical community congratulated future educators who also had the opportunity to join the event and prepared a report with the help of experienced members of the department: students of the Faculty of Geography, Tourism and History (Arkhipova A.I, Karaschuk Ye.O., Fedoruk Yu.A., scientific supervisor is candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Bilous O.S.); students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics (Gridina O.O., Datska N.I., Zagorodko P.V., Ruban V.R., Lisunenko A.V., Moshkov I.D., scientific supervisor is candidate of pedagogical sciences Voloshchuk I.A.); student of the Natural Faculty (Gorazova K.A., scientific supervisor is candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Ivanova V.V.).
Materials of the seminar were included in the collection of scientific and methodological works of the Pedagogical Department of KDPU "Pedagogical Kryvorizhya" (No.4; 2018).

A regular meeting of the scientific-methodical seminar was at the Department of Pedagogy 16 January2018. A number of important question for ensuring stable work were discussed at the Department of Pedagogy. Docent V. Ivanova acquainted with the basic requirements of formatting scientific text and informed about the new standards of bibliography setting (2015). Docent I. Makarenko told about the modern requirements of bibliography setting according to APA STYLE. Lectures (docent O. Bilоus, I. Voloshchuk, N. Zelenkova, O. Potapenko, S. Shcherbina) discussed possible options of modernization of students' independent work in "General Pedagogy ". The deadlines and responsible people for the completion of the training-methodological support of the magistracy in the specialization "Pedagogy of higher schools " were determined.
The moderator of the event was the head of the department T. Doronina which stressed at the need of joint and systematic work of the members of the department at tasks that university leadership sets for the department (and other structural divisions) in modern conditions.
