Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University is the modern progressive university that provides training at the third educational and scientific level of higher education. During the period of September 6-9, 2021, KSPU has been conducting Ph.D entrance exams.
Every year KSPU replenishes the ranks of higher education students with new generation of postgraduate students. This year 21 ambitious young scientists have expressed a desire to study for the Ph.D in the following educational programs: Educational, pedagogical sciences (guarantor – prof. T.O. Doronina), Preschool education (guarantor – prof. O.V. Kovshar), Methods of Teaching foreign languages (guarantor – prof. V.A. Hamaniuk), Vocational education (computer technologies) (guarantor – prof. S.O. Semerikov), Pedagogy of musical art (guarantor – prof. N.A. Ovcharenko), Professional education (service sphere) (guarantor – L.O. Savchenko), Philology (guarantor – prof. Zh.V. Koloiz), Psychology (guarantor – prof. Z. M. Miroshnyk), Sociology (guarantor – prof. A.S. Lobanova), Physics (guarantor – prof. R.M. Balabai). The main condition for achieving this goal is the successful passing of entrance exams.
In accordance with the established rules of admission, entrance examinations consisted of two components: the entrance exam in specialty (in the scope of the master’s degree program in relevant specialty – September 6, 2021) and presentation of the research proposal; entrance exam in a foreign language (corresponding to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – September 9, 2021). Under the conditions of cross-entry, the entrant was assigned an additional professional test.
The Head of the Department of English Philology, Ph.D. in pedagogical Sciences, assoc. prof. I.S. Zorenko, tells (translated): “This year the level of preparation of entrants is much better, than of the previous one; there is clearly the tendency of improvement. This indicator is the result of joint work of all members of the commission and the Head of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies O.I. Vasylievoi, as this all the gaps of last year’s entrance exam were taken into consideration. We are very pleased to see the desire of youth to engage into scientific activities: entrants with great pleasure talk about the topics of their future scientific research and their supervisors. We sincerely wish them only success in realizing of their own scientific ambitions!”.
According to the results of entrance examinations, a rating of the entrants recommended for the state budget places in the above-mentioned specialties was formed. Please note, that according to the rules of admission in 2021, on September 15, the order of enrollment of graduate students in full-time and part-time education will be published on the University website.
